GUI Explorer v3.4 - Complete Description
GUI Explorer is a professional GUI inspection and editing tool for Roblox that combines advanced power with an intuitive interface. It acts as a complete "Developer Tools" for visual debugging in real time.
🎯 Main Capabilities
Intelligent Visual Inspection
The Picker allows you to select any GUI element directly on the game screen with a click. When activated, the physical world freezes and a selection box highlights the element under your cursor. Use the mouse wheel to navigate up and down the parent/child hierarchy. A floating tooltip shows in real time: element name, class, text content (if applicable), image ID, and complete path in the instance tree. The Picker has an intelligent caching system that automatically regenerates when DOM changes are detected.
Contextual Property Editor
Select any GUI and access a right panel with granular control over all its properties. The editor includes:
Smart text fields that accept multiple formats (e.g., "255,128,64" for RGB colors)
Visual HSV color picker with hue strip, saturation/value square, RGB sliders, and hex input
Predefined selectors for Font, ScaleType, AnchorPoint (3x3 grid), CornerRadius
Instant tween to animate changes (e.g., "Rotation=45" in 0.5 seconds)
Undo history with automatic grouping of changes to the same property within a time window
All modifications apply instantly without affecting the original object unless you confirm.
Multi-Level Search
Search elements by name, class, visible text, Image ID, or complete path in a single field. Supports partial matching (substring). Results are filtered by:
Type tabs: All, Images, Texts, Frames, Buttons, Scripts, UI (constraints), Sounds, Surface (BillboardGui/SurfaceGui)
Visibility state: Active (Visible=true), Inactive (Visible=false), or All
Scan depth: Configurable level limit to avoid lag in complex games
Rendered quantity: Maximum elements shown (default 100)
Roblox filter: Hides internal system GUIs (TopBar, CoreGui, etc.)
Advanced Multi-Tool System
Statistics & Heavy GUI Detector
Automatic analysis of the complete tree:
Counter by class: Bar chart with frequency of each instance type
Heavy GUI detector: Identifies elements with >25 direct children or >80 descendants (risky for performance)
Severity score based on render load
Diff Viewer with Snapshots
Captures the current state of a GUI (all its key properties)
Compares later with current state and shows exactly what changed
Named snapshot history for temporal comparisons
Real-Time Property Watcher
Monitors specific properties of selected instances
Alerts when value changes (by code or game interaction)
Automatic change logging in Timeline
Bookmarks & Navigation History
Bookmarks: Save references to important GUIs, accessible instantly
Navigation History: Maintains history of inspected elements (back/forward like a browser)
Quick search in history
Multi-Select & Batch Operations
Select multiple GUIs and perform batch actions:
Show/hide all simultaneously
Delete entire group
Export as unified JSON
Batch toggle child visibility
Export/Import & JSON Serialization
Export: Serialize any GUI to JSON with hierarchical structure and properties
Import: Paste JSON from clipboard and reconstruct structure
Duplicate: Clone with one click, named "_copy"
Event Inspector: Detects connected events (MouseButton1Click, Changed, etc.)
