This game has been out and thriving for a while now, and the most anyone was ever able to do was make it so you can hover over enemies and see their stats.
Is this game really impossible to script for?

The problem isn't even that people can't. Perhaps the game is very well protected so far, there are no vulnerabilities, and they don't see any principle in creating scripts for this game.
To be honest, even if there is a vulnerability, they will do it for a fee because it is very profitable and I think that is the case.
without any vulns, its hard to even make an autofarm for a turn based game like this
